If you are a frequent traveler, you will be better versed when it comes to journey preparation. If you are an Australian and you want to a country to the United States, you are going to need an australian passport to be able to get out of the country and enter the other country. There are some mistakes that you are hardly going to make like, applying late for a passport, or even paying the wrong fees for your passport. An even worse thing you would hardly do is to use the wrong method to make your payments. You know that if you do this, that the chances of getting the Australian passport is going to be slim to nothing. You also know that when you are told to take photos that are of a specific measurement, then you should do just that. If they tell you to bring a recent photo that show all your facial features, you are going to do exactly that. This is because you know that a small deviation to these specifications will cost you your passport. |

Many people live very fast tracked life, most people have two jobs, because if not, they will not be able to make both ends meet. Another reason is that for those people who want finer things in life then it is important they work extra hard in order to maintain them, or even for those who have countless credit cards to pay off and you find that people work so hard and yet they never get time for themselves to even go any kind of vacation. That is why many organizations introduce draws that will help people win a holiday vacation to an exotic land. The law in many states if not all, is that you need a passport to get out of the country. So for those who win such impromptu vacations, and they do not have a passport, when they apply for a passport, they ask for passports fast track. This a simple process if you have everything, the important thing is that you go to the nearest office for passport and then when applying, indicate that you want the passport urgently, they will ask for proof of your speedy travel schedule and you can show them the vacation package you won and you will be able to get the passport in a few days or even forty eight hours if you would prefer. |

I have started a new job recently and my new employer has requested a copy of my passport from me. Now i know a lot of employers are doing this now and an agency i was with before also did this to me. What i want to know is if they are allowed to ask for a Passport Notarized Copy to keep on file or not?. I have been asking around but no one really knows it seems. Everyone here has provided a copy without even asking but i wonder how safe they copy would be. It would only be kept in a filing cabinet in an office on site. Now anyone could if they wanted open this and take out the copies of everyone's passport. They do not even have to steal it, just borrow it and copy it and put the original back and i would be none the wiser. Do i have any legal right to ask my employer to keep the copy in a safe or something perhaps instead? I may write to headoffice. |
